Blue Mountains – Private Nature, Culture & Culinary Experience

Discover the Blue Mountains through a calm, considered lens — where space, story, and atmosphere define the day. Your experience begins with a private pick-up in a premium vehicle, leaving Sydney behind as the air cools and the landscape opens into sandstone cliffs, eucalyptus forest, and deep valleys of the Great Dividing Range.

Hosted by Sydney Privé, this is a thoughtfully paced journey shaped by insight and local knowledge. As the day unfolds, the region’s natural drama is revealed through carefully chosen viewpoints and walking tracks, with time to pause, observe, and connect. From the iconic Three Sisters to the sweeping vistas of Wentworth Falls and the Grose Valley, each stop is selected for perspective as much as beauty.

Wildlife encounters are experienced quietly and respectfully, offering the opportunity to see Australia’s native animals up close in a calm, natural setting. The rhythm of the day allows space for short walks, photography, and moments of stillness — whether beside a waterfall, at a secluded lookout, or along a forest trail.

Lunch is relaxed and locally grounded, enjoyed at a hand-picked mountain restaurant or historic boutique pub, where seasonal produce and regional flavours reflect the character of the area. Throughout the day, stories of the landscape emerge naturally — from Aboriginal heritage and early settlement to geology, ecology, and life in the mountains today.

Every Blue Mountains experience is tailored to the pace and interests of the group. Whether you’re drawn to nature, photography, gentle hiking, or simply the pleasure of being somewhere quieter and expansive, the day flows effortlessly — guided, flexible, and deeply connected to place.

Experience the Blue Mountains the Sydney Privé way: unhurried, immersive, and quietly exceptional.

Stories worth telling

What our clients say

Matt picked us up and we went for breakfast at Bondi before going to an amazing butcher shop and then the fish market where he got lunch and dinner. We had the most fantastic time visiting a native animal sanctuary before an incredible walk at the Blue Mountains where we later had a champagne lunch with views to take your breath away. We visited other sites before going to Dryridge Winery for wine tasting and to our surprise Matt bbq’d the steak to accompany. There were so many highlights and excellent thoughtful touches. We had a day we won’t forget!

From the communication prior to the tour to the continued assistance post-trip, Matt is much more than just a guide. We started with a gourmet Australian “brekky” and a tour of Bondi Beach before hitting the Sydney Fish Market for an incredible seafood display. We visited a wildlife park to see exotic animals before heading to the Blue Mountains for a spectacular hike. Matt prepared a fresh seafood lunch with champagne, followed by wine tasting and charcuterie. He even secured us a difficult dinner reservation back in the city. Truly a highly recommended VIP service!

We had a wonderful day tour starting at the Sydney Fish Market followed by a stop at Featherdale Wildlife Park to see kangaroos, koalas, and wombats. Once in the Blue Mountains, Matt surprised us with a beautiful park lunch he prepared personally. As a professional sommelier, he even selected a special wine to pair perfectly with the food! We finished with a private winery tasting. Matt was spectacular, professional, and so knowledgeable about Sydney. He even provided great suggestions for our next stop in Hobart. If you are heading to Sydney, book Matt!

When an experience is so good that you rearrange your entire trip five years later just to book with Matt again, you know he is the best in the business. From the initial contact to the final completion, every single detail was handled with perfection. I simply cannot say enough good things about the quality of service provided. This is the only company you should use for your Sydney travels. My only hope is that one day I get to return and experience another incredible day with Matt’s company. It’s truly world-class.

For a truly special and unforgettable experience, you must book a private tour with Matt at Sydney Prive. Our Blue Mountains journey included amazing encounters with koalas and kangaroos, a spectacular hike with breathtaking vistas, and the most incredible food and wine pairings imaginable. We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our day with Matt. He welcomes you like an old friend, sharing his deep knowledge of Australian history and culture alongside his genuine passion for fine food. It was a highlight of our trip that we will cherish forever.
